Supermarine Ladies RFC was established over 14 years ago and has been growing ever since. In 2006/07 we will be playing
in South West 1 Division, following victory in the same league last year, with the team continuing to go from strength
to strength. In recent years we have seen many players progress to play at County and Regional levels. To date
Supermarine Ladies have produced captains of England Students and England Unversities, players for England 'A',
Emerging England, Wales 'A'.
We have our first full international, Shona Watt, who represented Scotland in their 6-nations
fixtures in 03/04, 04/05 and 05/06, and whole will be playing in the Rugby World Cup in Edmonton this year.
We are based at the Supermarine Sports and Social club on the outskirts of Swindon (directions on
Finding us page) where we share facilities with the Supermarines men's rugby teams.
We are situated on the outskirts of Swindon just further out than the Honda car plant on the A419 Swindon to Highworth road.
Directions from M4 Junction 15:
Head towards Swindon on the A419. Go straight over the first roundabout keeping on the A419 then come off at the 3rd slip road. This will bring you to a roundabout on the A361 Swindon to Highworth road, head left and follow the signs to Highworth, three roundabouts later and you should see the sign for Supermarine Rugby Club.
